Overview

Yawmik uses essential web technologies to ensure a secure, fast, and reliable experience across web, desktop, and mobile applications. This page explains the basic client-side technologies such as cookies, local storage, and related browser mechanisms that help the platform function properly.

These technologies are used strictly for functionality, security, and performance, not for invasive tracking or unauthorized data collection.

Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your browser when you visit Yawmik. They help the platform recognize your device, maintain secure sessions, and improve usability.

We use cookies for secure login session management, authentication and account verification, platform preferences such as language, settings, and UI state, security and fraud prevention, and performance or basic analytics.

  • Essential cookies required for core platform functionality
  • Security cookies used for authentication and protection
  • Preference cookies used to store settings and interface choices
  • Yawmik does not use cookies for selling user data or intrusive advertising tracking

Local Storage

Local Storage is a browser-based storage mechanism that allows applications to store small amounts of data directly on your device.

Yawmik may use Local Storage to store temporary app preferences, maintain offline-first functionality, cache non-sensitive UI data, improve loading speed and performance, and preserve workspace state and user experience.

  • Temporary app preferences
  • Offline-first continuity
  • Non-sensitive UI cache
  • Workspace state preservation
  • No sensitive financial information, passwords, or raw payment details are stored in Local Storage

Session Storage

Session Storage is used for short-term data that exists only during an active browser session.

It may be used for temporary session state, secure navigation flows, and form progress or temporary UI states.

This data is automatically cleared when the browser tab is closed.

Secure Authentication Storage

For secure account access, Yawmik may use encrypted tokens stored in secure browser storage mechanisms to maintain logged-in sessions, protect account authentication, and prevent unauthorized access.

All authentication processes are designed to follow modern security best practices.

Offline Cache and Performance Technologies

To support fast performance and offline-first capabilities, Yawmik may use browser cache, indexed storage where applicable, and temporary asset caching.

These mechanisms help users, including business users and store owners, continue basic operations even when internet connectivity is limited or unstable.

Third-Party Storage Technologies

When payment or external services are used, such as Stripe or regional payment gateways, those services may use their own cookies or secure storage systems for payment authentication, fraud prevention, and transaction security.

Yawmik does not control third-party cookie policies directly, but only integrates trusted and compliant providers.

User Control Over Storage Technologies

Users can control or disable cookies and storage through their browser settings. However, disabling essential cookies or local storage may affect login functionality, platform performance, and core feature availability.

Data Security Assurance

All browser storage technologies used by Yawmik are designed with a privacy-first and security-focused approach.

We do not store full card numbers, CVV or banking credentials, or highly sensitive personal data in local storage. Sensitive operations are handled through secure, encrypted server-side systems.

  • No full card numbers
  • No CVV or banking credentials
  • No highly sensitive personal data in local storage
  • Sensitive operations remain server-side and encrypted

Updates

Yawmik may update its usage of cookies, local storage, or basic client technologies as the platform evolves. Significant changes will be reflected in this Technologies page.
